Accessibility Policy
Effective date: September 8th, 2025
1. Introduction
At Gataca, we are committed to ensuring that our digital solutions are accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use. Accessibility is an essential part of our mission to deliver secure, trustworthy, and user-centric identity services.
2. Current Status
We acknowledge that achieving full digital accessibility is an ongoing process. Gataca is actively working to review, adapt, and improve the accessibility of our products and services. While some areas are already compliant, others are still in the process of being updated in order to meet the required standards.
3. Commitment to European standards
Our goal is to comply with the European standards and regulations on accessibility, including:
- Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.
- EN 301 549 Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services (harmonised European standard).
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A and AA, published by the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
These standards set the benchmark for accessible design, ensuring that our solutions can be used by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
4. Continuous improvement
We are implementing accessibility testing processes, both automated and manual, as well as usability reviews, in order to progressively improve our compliance. We are also training our teams to adopt accessibility best practices from the design phase through to deployment.
5. Feedback and contact
Accessibility is a shared responsibility, and we welcome feedback. If you encounter any accessibility issues in our solutions, please let us know at help@gataca.io . We will do our best to address your request as quickly as possible.
